The story takes place inside a seedy dive bar. The characters are in their early 30’s and dealing with the crisis of self worth and their ability to succeed in life. The different flaws in the characters come out as the play progresses and they feel trapped in their own lifestyles of unhappiness. The limbo between life and death essentially, the characters discuss the aspects of feeling trapped and in hell, in a sense. The design of the space shows a void, the essence of lost space and hints of encased life, from the bars on the glass, red light from the neon outside, the toned down and aged environment shows a dated dive bar that acts as a cage to these people.
